Krakow - Around the Planty

Everytime I go to start a post about Krakow, it nearly starts with 'my favourite thing about...' but really, the whole city is my favourite at the moment - and the Planty - the 'green circle' park gardens that surrounded the old town is another feature of the city that I particularly adored. Especially as our apartment was literally across the road from it and we walked around at least one part of it everyday, hurray!

{photos taken with my new fave - the yashica samurai and my fuji instax mini, hurray}

In fact, I think every city needs a park to encompass it so I can walk around in Autumn and admire the beautiful leaves! (Yes, I mean you Leeds!)

In other news my parents are coming to visit this weekend - finally - so I am very excited!

I hope you all have a great weekend!

p.s. my lovely blog friend Eadaoin from City of Blackbirds featured me in her new Inspiration Secrets blog series this week - so if you're wondering what mine are - have a look
(and say hi to Ead, I love her!)

It's Friday!!

{Thomas and I with litre(!!) tankards of Polish beer!!}
(How cool would that have been to bring home??)

Woohoooo!!

This week at work has been as hectic/bad as the one before I left for Poland, so it almost feels like we were never there - it's a good thing I have photos as proof to remind me!!

We're having a halloween party tomorrow and I am so excited, so many of our amazing friends are coming, I can't wait to see everyone all dressed up.

So, I'm going to go home from work today and forget about this lousy week and spend some quality time with some of my favourite people!!

I hope you all have amazing weekends!!

p.s. I can't wait to share more Poland and halloween photos next week :)

Busy busy Friday

I am so busy at work today its crazy but I wanted to share a little bit of Etsy love before I head home for the weekend (yeay)!

I just treated myself (either as a very late birthday present or perhaps a very early christmas one - I haven't decided yet...) to a wonderful mini 2011 calender from Lola's Room - I bet you aren't surprised that it's cameras...

I already have a couple of these as postcards but they are so cute and I loved the mini calender I won last year from Tina Crespo, so I brought it as soon as I saw it!

Happy weekend!!!

p.s. The lovely Cassia is having buy one get one free sales in two of her shops - find out more here!
