My only concern with digital photography is that theres no reason for me not to take all the photos of boats when I see them now… no ‘oh I have a photo of a boat, I dont want to waste film’… to hold me back ha! Though in sharing this film photo… I’m not sure that thought ever really held me back haha.

It took me ages to scan these photos and then edit them correctly becasue I was treating them as if it was a super sunny day, all the colours should be nicely saturated and I’d used the brightest film possible. Once I realised that these were instead, desaturated, grainy, grey day photos, they finally started to ‘pop’ out to me and really get my heart rate going (though I shall say this is metaphorically as my current CFS/ME status now means my heart rate has to be safely kept at a steady rate ha)
Also yes, I know I take a lot of photos of boats and signposts. I like them.

So I’m predictable… I know that… you probably know that by now. There are things I just take photos of when I see them - and boats - for some reason - is one of them.
I’ve so neglected my blog lately that these are from the beginning of 2018 - from even before we went to Edinburgh. I’m a little ashamed… but mostly excited because I actually have loads of photos to share with you now. Hopefully you’re excited too.
These were taken in Norfolk and they’re making me a little bit homesick. With my new term for Uni coming up soon, I’m not actually sure when I’ll get to go home - though we did have a longer visit during the Summer which was lovely. Hopefully it will be sooner rather than later though.
