We’ve now had the kittens a full year and unbelievably I’ve only just started taking photos of them with film cameras. I have SO many digital photos and videos (see their insta here: garnet.and.pearl) that I don’t really mind and with how much they moved when they were dinky, I think I would have wasted a lot of film haha.
Still - we now have their film photography debut and I’m very excited that they were taken with Dubblefilm’s colourful Jelly film. The colour shifts really make the cats look magical - which is their natural status, so I think its perfect!
Pearl is the white and tabby cat - shes the ruler of the roost, demander of cuddles and destroyer of bugs (primarily woodlice and moths but shes not picky). Garnet is the black and white cat - he is the chaser of lasers, lover of food and best at snuggles <3 I’m not ashamed to say that they’ve totally made my life better. Cats… who knew??
p.s. Garnet is pulling such an interested face as he really liked the sound of the camera shutter, he’s thoroughly investigated all my cameras now hehe. Love him
