Sewerby Hall Walled Garden

I'm a little amazed that I haven't shared any photos from Sewerby Hall here yet - but the good news is  -  I have photos from Sewerby Hall to share here now, hurray! As well as being a gorgeous hall, with a small zoo area (!) the grounds of Sewerby Hall also had a walled garden and as a fan of the Secret Garden when I was younger - it was a dream!! There were also a lot of flowers, which obviously I loved too.

Now I know I haven't shared any photos from Sewerby Hall yet, I'll definitely be sharing some more soon!

Bridlington Old Town

Earlier in the year, to celebrate our anniversary, we spent a long weekend in Bridlington. We've never really spent longer than a few hours in Bridlington before so it was nice to explore it properly and enjoy getting to know somewhere new to us.

One of my favourite parts was the Bridlington old town area, with its quaint - but sadly empty - streets and lovely church. We also stopped for a burger in one of the pubs which was yummy!

Day 254: A few photos from Bridlington

We spent a couple of hours in Bridlington as part of our Flamborough weekend. We usually go to Scarborough or Filey so it was nice to go somewhere new and have a little look around.

How cute are those two dogs hehe and Harry with his stone on the beach. We walked him pretty far that day so by the time he found his stone he was totally over the beach and ready to go home...

Bridlington...

Having lived in Yorkshire for almost 4 years now I am slightly ashamed to admit that before Friday we had never been to Bridlington (or just Brid) and now that we finally have, I just want to go back again!

Aren't these the cutest doors?

A few fuji instax mini's, I love them both!

I'm not sure what happened here...

We only had a couple of hours before we needed to get to the caravan so we spent an hour looking around the Old Town and Priory, before getting the most amazing sandwiches from a local bakery and taking them down to the seafront to eat. (Food not pictured as it was very quickly devoured...)

We even managed a walk along the promenade, an ice cream and of course, a photo of our feet on the beach :)

p.s. can you just see my yashica autofocus in the bottom photo? I just dropped off 4 films to be processed so hopefully I should have more Brid photo next week, hurray!
