taking an official break

As opposed to my many unofficial ones haha - this time I’m letting you know. I’m going to take a couple of weeks off here - but planning on being back at some point in the new year!

But first - here are some festive photos to last you through the holiday season. These steampunk christmas decorations were in Leeds Corn Exchange in 2018 and I really loved how unique and fun they were. I think its just red and green baubles this year, which are fine - but these were just so fun I had to take photos.

Bonus shot of my reflection in a bauble - classic!

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season - see you in 2022!

355-360 366 Project

So here we are, the penultimate post of my 366 series. As I write this post, the last 6 photos are still on a film in my camera... which feels weird as it means its been pretty much a month of no photos, but I've finally started carrying my camera around with me after a little break, which means new photos soon. And soon I'll share the last batch of photos for this series, eep!

356/366 - How fun is this?! I love it. It felt a bit risky taking this photo inside, so I'm really pleased it worked out.

357/366 - Every year I dig out my santa hat for christmas which is so old that it still has my name stitched in it by my Mum from a time way back when my sister and I failed at sharing haha.

358/366 - Another risky inside photo that didn't pay off this time. That blur is one tasty burger though I promise!

Christmas in York

Earlier this month my sister and her husband came to visit for the weekend and we went to York to enjoy the festive atmosphere and the Christmas market. It definitely helped to kick off that Christmas feeling for the month!

As well as the Christmas Market, all the streets in Yorkshire had the delightful little christmas trees hanging that you can see in the photo above and as well as loving the simple consistency of the idea, it was just so fun to see so many christmas trees around brightening up the streets with their twinkling lights!

Can you believe its Christmas tomorrow? Hopefully these photos have added to your festive spririt and Merry Christmas!!
